FSNEP is a Cooperative Extension Program aimed at improving nutrition and increasing physical activity among Food Stamp eligible audiences. This is accomplished via education provided by community-based projects.

The FSNEP portion of the website consists of:

• More on FSNEP that includes information on what we teach, where we teach, and information about FSNEP's local community-based program contact information.
• The Adult Educational Process section that includes a description of the process FSNEP uses for educating adults in small group classes.
• An Educational Materials section that include lessons and materials for providing nutrition education to adults and youth.
• A Managerial Tools section that includes all forms and materials needed by local projects to: apply for, operate, and manage a FSNEP project; to support the educational process; report impacts; and, document financial contributions.

The Network is a collaborative of state agencies, private industries, and community-based, non-profit, health, trade, and faith based organizations that work cooperatively to ensure nutrition education for food stamp families and individuals.

The Network Portion of the Website includes:

• The NJ Network Partners.
• NJ SNAP (State Nutrition Action Plan). This section includes information for both professionals and consumers about and how to apply for: the Food Stamp Program, WIC, the Child Nutrition Programs, TEFAP, and the fruit and vegetable More Matters Campaign.
• The Calcium: Select to Protect Campaign section includes information about this Campaign and Campaign news as well as useful information on how to increase children's calcium intake.
• The Faithfully Fit section for this new network program that supports nutrition education via organizations with religious affiliations. At this time this section includes materials created for work with English speaking, Christian audiences. Future plans are to expand this work to groups with other religious affiliations.
